The Chickadee Diner was the very first feeder ever offered by Hurley-Byrd back in 2001.
As the business grew, so did the size of feeder we offered and in 2007 we discontinued the
Chickadee Diner but our customers continue to request this great little feeder. Soooo, it's back with a
few twists to make it even better. The Chickadee Diner is the perfect feeder for all small birds.
It's tight base to hopper area deters the large birds and in some case, makes it impossible
for them to feed. Order yours today and see what a difference they make.
The Chickadee Diner
The Chickadee Diner is an upgrade from our original Chickadee series hopper feeder and is
designed to feed the smaller birds of your home. It easily accommodates the little guys and deters
harassment from the larger and more aggressive Blue Jays, Grackles and the like. Place the Chickadee
Diner near a main feeder where the larger birds "rule the roost" and push the little birds out.
The Chickadee Diner is an excellent "hole filler" in and about your home.
Use it to "fill" areas you typically don't have feeders. Such as a kitchen or bathroom window, between your home and a main feeding station or hang under an eave. These areas are perfect for attracting the
smaller birds offering them a bit of protection and will quickly become very popular with
all your Chickadees, Titmice, Finches and many others.
To better the Chickadee Diner's usage, seed ports are added on each end to provide feed to
our 360 degree feeding platform allowing more birds to feed with less aggressive behavior.
Filling is a snap as the roof slides up the extra long hanging rope.
